The 16th June 2020, on the frame of the UNIMED WEEK 2020, it was organised an interesting Webinar: Integrate Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange in your courses: examples and opportunities. The Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange is an initiative of the European Commission that has reached over 20,000 participants since 2018, and established more than 250 partnerships with universities and youth organisations across 44 countries.
The webinar presented to university professors the opportunities of Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange, how to integrate the initiatives in the educational offer of universities and provided examples of successful Virtual Exchange implementation in universities from Europe and the South Mediterranean.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the growing need for online activities, now are attracting an increased interest from stakeholders, since Virtual Exchange represents both a way to sustain intercultural collaboration in times of social distancing and an innovative online learning method.
