On March 12 and 13, 2020, at the oceanographic museum of Monaco, the Xèmes Rencontres Internationales Monaco et la Mediteranée (RIMM) took place with the theme “Acting for heritage”. From a multidisciplinary perspective, the preservation of heritage and the essential challenges that must be faced to safeguard it were discussed.
Under the chairmanship of Mounir Bouchenaki, RehabiMed has been invited to the debates to contribute his experience: Rehabilitation and urban regeneration. Living in Mediterranean. Maamoun Abdulkarim presented the strategy for the protection of Syrian heritage during the war and Luís Monreal presented the work being carried out by the Aga Khan Foundation in Aleppo, among other interesting presentations.
