On September from the 20th until 24th 2021, at the Palermo University, the C6 – Short-term joint staff training in Technological innovation in heritage buildings restoration of the Smart Rehabilitation 3.0 project took place, after a year and a half without being able to organize any Courses due to the pandemic situation.
The partners had been the possibility to exchange knowledge and experiences, learning from each other, and debate about how to develop training methodologies and tools on specific topics concerning the technological innovation in heritage buildings restoration. These topics are considered necessary for future “Building Rehabilitation Experts” (BRE).
The main aim of the event has been that to agree on a common pattern to be applied to training programs for “Building Rehabilitation Experts” in the Partner Countries. At the same time, the Partners coming from Italy, Spain, Lithuania and Cyprus could check their own state of the art on the comparative research, orientating and focussing it to the issues emerged during the all Course, especially in the occasion of technical visits and discussions also with local technicians, building companies, Technical Association.
The participants had been selected as experts able to give elements for the debate for the development of intellectual outputs, as extensive research activity carried out be-tween the University of Palermo – Department of Architecture experts.
