The 4th International Conference on Energy Efficiency in Historic Buildings, EEHB2021, presents various energy-related subjects regarding heritage buildings. The upcoming conference will focus on the role of digital technologies and their importance in improving the energy performance of historic buildings, whilst respecting the principles of conservation. Among the subjects under discussion are: the innovative tools and methods for 3D modelling and the degree of accuracy of the building survey in order to represent a historic building accurately.
The conference is organised jointly by the Fraunhofer Centre for Conservation and Energy Performance of Historic Buildings and the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt and with the support of the Bezirk Oberbayern. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the conference has been rescheduled for 6 & 7th October 2021.
