World Wood Day 2019 event in Austria
A few years ago I attended a very interesting event dedicated to trees, World Wood Day 2019. It took place in a beautiful place in Austria, at the Stubing Open-Air Museum. On this event people from up to 150 countries came together – artists, craftsmen, scientists. The high number of local and international guests made it possible to learn about the fascinating world of wood usage as practised by different cultures.
We live with trees, but often we don’t even notice them. We use wood every day – we burn fire, we build houses, we make furniture, things, materials … Trees clean the air we breathe, trees make our environment pleasant, healthy, safe and sustainable. We should be grateful to them …
I invite you to join the upcoming new event –.2022 World Wood Day.
